When you start to receive benefits or earn money through employment it can feel overwhelming sorting out what money you have each week and dealing with bills and bank statements. The Customer Access and Assessment Team
The Customer Access and Assessment Team is the first port of call for new customers aged 18 years and over wishing to gain advice and information regarding adult social care services. The team supports families who need housing adaptations and are able to sign post you to other services for support.
Reablement (regaining independent living) is suitable for anyone over 18 years old who is eligible for social care support and who would benefit from a period of support with daily activities. Examples how reablement can support you include regaining skills such as cooking, or support you to go out.
Occupational Therapy Assessment will assess your needs to help you remain in your home. Support could be from adaptations made to your home or equipment to enable you to remain independent.
You can find out more information about equipment to help you remain independent in your own home on the Be Independent pages.
